amongst the grasses - Leptadenia - a fire bush used prolifically in local traditions, and desert cotton, prized for its soft flowers, made great filling for Bedouin pillows. stories we enjoyed learning together as the design developed.

now old stories live on, with new travellers - western migrants living in Dubai - oh, also a gazillion swallows, a handful of reptiles and a desert hedgehog, too.
