SHAIKA’S SECRET GARDEN
we’re sitting on the iron-rich sand, discussing favourite fruit trees for hiding and sturdier ones for climbing. life feels spirited, honest, vital.
(and apparently chikoo makes the best den).
the existing garden had deep personal value as a private escape and place for meaningful connection with nature. old site objects were adopted including a large fenced pen, building materials, and tree chonks. a gentler design emerged with minimal intervention and maximal spirit. the garden hums.
